Gill Cameron is a Canadian Landscape Artist. She is a member of the Society of Canadian Artists, Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, Ontario Society of Artists, and Toronto Watercolour Society where she has won numerous awards. She is intrigued by shapes, design and how they relate to each other in their natural habitat. Her paintings end up as landscapes but they begin their process as shapes that are pleasing in a dynamic composition. Gill’s bold paintings build on the positive energy of nature. The possibilities and complexities of colour, design, and the power of elemental imagery infuse her work. Gill describes her sense of wonder of the beauty of landscape through her lush paintings.
Gill has had numerous group and solo exhibitions in Toronto, Collingwood and Pointe au Baril, Ontario as well as internationally in Mexico, Italy and the United States. Her work is held in collections throughout Canada, the US, and Europe.
