Karin Modotto
Biography
Karin Modotto is an amateur photographer who loves to travel. Karin retired in 2021 and started her photography business called SkyScapes by Karin. Karin is a resident of Wasaga Beach and her focus is photographing skyscapes, seascapes and landscapes. Her goal is for her photos to look like paintings.
Karin has had 2 exhibits at the LeShore Gallery in Thornbury, April 2022 and December 2024 and has had photos accepted to the BMFA Juried Photo Show in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. One of her photos is in the permanent collection at the Wasaga Beach Library and she has photos hanging at the Wasaga Beach Rec Plex and Town hall. Karin exhibits her work at the BMFA Hub at 65 Simcoe St. in Collingwood and is also part of the Art About Town program at the Living Water Resort.
Karin is the past Chair of the Board for the Blue Mountain Foundation for the arts in Collingwood.
