John Cheesman
Biography
John has been writing songs since the age of 14 when his music teacher challenged his class to write a song. It was his tender ballad ‘Hey Johnny’ lamenting the passing of his musical hero, John Lennon, that gave him the songwriting bug which he has carried to this day. Currently involved in many musical projects, his original band ‘Lifted’ has just released their first single in over 15 years. ‘Truly’, another tender ballad but this one celebrating never ending teenage love, was released in May 2025 as a part of their forthcoming EP, ‘Us on Earth’.
