Willie Baronet
Biography
Willie Baronet has been buying and collecting homeless signs for over 32 years as part of a long term art project titled WE ARE ALL HOMELESS. In 2014 he began a 31-day cross country trip to buy signs in 24 cities, which is the subject of the documentary Signs of Humanity. Exhibits featuring the signs have been in venues across the US and in the UK, including the Anchorage Museum, The Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, NYU and Cambridge University. The project has been featured in media all over the world and aims to change the stigmas associated with people experiencing homelessness.
