Biography
Pianist Mila Filatova arrived in Canada from Russia in 1991 with Master’s Degree in Music. In her native country she served as vocal coach in various Opera Houses throughout then USSR and toured as featured artist in musical festivals. Many of the festivals were recorded for National Broadcast. Mila’s professional life took her to the Malta Opera House and the Mississauga Opera Company, to mention a few. From 2000 to 2009 she served annually at COA, Fresno, California. Since 2015 Mila teaches from her Collingwood Music Studio where she collaborates and performs with local musicians & singers.
