Venue Registration Form
Thank you for registering as an official venue for the 2026 Collingwood Art Crawl. This year’s event will be held on September 19th, from 4 to 8 pm.
Registration is FREE for participating venues in 2026.
Please review the following prior to registering.
Eligibility:
- Interested businesses and storefronts must be located within the Downtown BIA District to facilitate self-guided walking at the event. Please contact the Collingwood Downtown BIA directly prior to registering to confirm your eligibility.
- Venues may host the following artists: music, visual art and/or other performance acts (drama, improv, dance, spoken word etc.) indoors or outdoors
- Visual artists are assigned for the full 4 hours of the event and must be present at your venue throughout.
- Music may be an acoustic act, solo artists up to a 3-piece group. Music is assigned in 2 hour time-slots (4-6 and 6-8 pm) which includes set-up and tear down.
- Other performing acts may be a solo performer up to 4 member act. They are assigned for a 1 hour time-slot which includes set-up and tear down.
- All artists/performers will be assigned based on availability and an effort to create a balance and flow of performance and art that allows for maximum participation and the enjoyment of everyone.
Event responsibilities:
- To pair acts with official registered venues. A maximum number of acts will be established based on available venues.
- Creation of Profile on the Collingwood Art Crawl website
- Map of registered venues and their participating artists and performers
- On-site signage
- Social media posts and local media coverage leading up to the event
- Centralized information & registration centre for venues, musicians, visual artists & visitors
- Temporary load-in parking outside venues whenever possible
Host Venue responsibilities:
- Complete the registration form. Submit it prior to Monday, June 30, by 4:30pm.
- Ensure you block off the Art Crawl date of Saturday, September 19th, 2026, on YOUR calendar to guarantee you are ready for the event
- Communicate with your assigned artists prior to the event to coordinate setup location, equipment load-in specifics and timing. (Contact info will be provided.)
Note: Tents, lighting, sound equipment and required accessories are not provided by the event organizers. Ensure there is power available if required by artist(s). - Promote Art Crawl onto the best of your ability on your existing website, and through your social media platforms. Remember, helping us to spread the word also helps you to maximize visibility to attendees and potential venues for future opportunities
