Mural makes its feature debut!

Brought to you by the Town of Collingwood in partnership with Streetcar Developments and thanks to the artist team Future Day, this newest addition to Collingwood’s public art scape will be on display beginning on Art Crawl weekend.

Titled “Sunset Chronicles, Collingwood’s Journey by Rail, Sea and Ski”, this digitally created mural is an artistic depiction inspired by 170 years of Collingwood’s history and the town’s strong connection to the railway.

This mural has also been created in recognition of the 150th anniversary of the first brick railway station in Collingwood, as well as the 25th anniversary of the Station, home of the Collingwood Museum, which was designed in the spirit of the earlier station.

Come and check out this great visual display and have a chance to meet the wonderful artists who made it! Future Day will be showcasing at the Collingwood Museum during Art Crawl, so come on out and say hello!

Celebrate with cake!

Collingwood Museum staff will be serving cake between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to honour the Station’s 25th anniversary. Quantities are limited, so don’t delay!
