Lisa Olesen
Biography
My paintings are born at the intersection of my thoughts and feelings. Influenced by the many of the greats: Van Gogh, Monet, O’Keefe and Kahlo, my creations are expressive and brimming with energy.
Born in Grey County in the 60’s, my early work leaned toward landscapes, albeit abstract ones. I currently live in Blue Mountain and Barbados. I work in acrylics and watercolours, adding effects with pastels and inks. My college degree is in both fine arts and graphics, with painting as my true passion. The success of my first gallery show has encouraged my goal of sharing the joy of creating.
