Genna Chew
Biography
Genna is a Chinese Canadian singer-songwriter based in Toronto. A graduate of Humber College’s Bachelor of Music program, she emerged an avid songwriter. Her music dips into a wide range of genres, including pop, folk, indie, and jazz. Inspired by the music of Valley, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lizzy McAlpine, Genna creates songs that somehow make you want to cry and bust a move at the same time. Her music has been featured in Indie Week, the Toronto Undergrad Jazz Festival, and the Collingwood Art Crawl. A uniquely down-to-earth performer, Genna aims to create chill vibes wherever she goes!
