Elaine moved to Thornbury two years ago and loves the Georgian Bay area. She attended Sheridan College for Visual Arts and Design but, did not pursue the arts until later in life. She’s been privately painting for 9 years and in 2022 she felt a renewed passion and dove headfirst into challenging herself to create more. She works mostly in acrylics on canvas and is just now embarking on premiering her art to the the public. Her artistic style is a modern-blend of realism and post-impressionism, with a twist of abstract, turning natural landscapes into stories to experience.
