I was born and raised in Niagara Falls, Ontario. I have also lived in Ottawa, Carleton Place, Kingston and now Thornhill. I started painting about 2 years ago. I love to paint large 24 inches or more. I feel it leaves more room for experimentation. My main medium is acrylic paint and or household paint with gesso and modeling paste as texture. One thing that I have been known for is that I go against the established thought with regards to canvas painting. I do this by leaving a .5 to 1 inch border around some of my paintings to create the effect of a frame. I also love using bright bold color.
