Constanza Farias
Biography
Constanza, a Chilean artist based in Collingwood, leverages her background in psychology to explore the female experience through her paintings and a diverse range of fine art photography. Her photographic work spans from experimental techniques with film cameras and double exposures to street photography and documentary projects centered on the female gaze. Her art has been showcased at Northern Contemporary and the Federation for Canadian Artists. Constanza studied at the Toronto Art School and OCAD and has been guided by Canadian artist mentors for the past four years. Additionally, drawing on the Open Studio Process, she facilitates art classes and workshops at Third Space Studio.
