Sue A. Miller
Sue A .Miller’s work is informed by a collective imprint of landscape that has influenced her life since early childhood. Growing up in rural Ontario, Canada, Sue spent most of her time exploring the natural environment with a keen sensitivity to it’s often overlooked significance and beauty. Her oil paintings hover between impressionism and abstract, and are a personal voyage into an internal perception of landscape that expresses a primal and psychogeographical connection to land and water, along with a sense of calm, comfortable solitude. Inspired by shorelines around Georgian Bay and the coastlines of Newfoundland, her journey is motivated by the interplay of environment and metaphors of the human condition.
Miller works full time from her studio in Creemore, Ontario. The Mill Street Art Studio. Her work is represented by In2Art Gallery in Oakville Ontario, and is held in private & corporate collections across North America, Europe and Japan.
