Natasha is a landscape painter that paints primarily in oils, with occasional use of watercolours, collage, acrylic and pastels. Her subject matter of interest is the Canadian Landscape. Many of her works include the forests and beaches of Vancouver Island, the desert scenes of Osoyoos BC, the iconic Canadian images of Banff and Jasper island, as well as Georgian Bay and other rural Ontario scenes. She has a quick, gestural style with intuitive use of colour to reflect the emotion. Her work can be abstract, semi abstract, or representational, depending on her reaction to the places. She is grateful to live in Canada and be able to go to these beautiful spots in nature. Her hope is that the paintings give the viewer the same sense of peace and serenity that she feels in nature.
