Biography
Jennifer Keskikyla is a landscape and wildlife photographer and painter. She is inspired by the natural world. Landscapes, leaves, skiers, animals birds and decorative paddles are all subjects she has explored. The Group of Seven and particularly AY Jackson, are influences in her work. Early influences also include Impressionism.
Jennifer has studied art for many years at several institutions including the Royal Ontario Museum, Freehand School of Art, and Haliburton School of Art & Design. She has participated in many shows, including the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts (BMFA) Juried Photography Show, Juried Art Show, and several summer and winter gift shows. Most recently, Jennifer’s work can be found in the BMFA gift shop in Collingwood, the Quest Art Gallery in Midland and Dovetail Interiors in Nottawa. Jennifer’s studio is located at 45 Silver Crescent in Collingwood where she invites you to her open studio on September 26.
